- Three of Caesars’ most active volunteers are coming to Atlantic City as recognized guests to share best community engagement practices with the Atlantic City region and the 2015 Caesars Client Educational Experience guests. Over the next 4 days, follow Brid’Jette Whaley, Janice Miller and Joan Bish as they attend the exclusive Caesars Meetings and Clients events in Atlantic City. Bridjette, Janice and Joan were selected as HERO Stars by Caesars’ based on the impact they’re making in their communities through their volunteer efforts. They will join this one-of-a-kind experience and indulge in spectacular venues as well as the celebration surrounding the unveiling of Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City’s Water Front Conference Center.

We encourage all of our employees to volunteer in civic and charitable causes. A Caesars Entertainment HERO Star is a service-driven team member who goes above and beyond in giving back to their community. This quarter we recognized Brenda Heiselt, Mesa Grill Team and Adam Web for their dedication to bringing Caesars’ Code of Commitment to life and awarded them with $500 to donate to a charity of their choice.

- “I hate my job.”
It’s a sign of a warped world that most of us have heard friends, family or our own lips make this gloomy statement. Chances are that four out of every five people working for you right this minute would rather be not working. This is the percentage of global workers who are not “involved in, enthusiastic about and committed to work” — in other words, not engaged — according to Gallup.
Why does this matter? Disengaged workers produce less and turn over more. As a result, companies and teams with largely disengaged workers underperform financially by more than 50 percent compared to those with mostly engaged workers.

Caesars Entertainment was among the first gaming companies to support the LGBT community and annually joins in celebrating June as PRIDE Month. Last month we recognized the LGBT community’s progress and gave them appreciation as a key component to Caesars’ diversity and inclusion programs.

- Caesars Entertainment announced today that guests of 13 of its resorts and casinos can now literally “relax and recharge” with the addition of new EV charging stations, thanks to the company’s partnership with NV Energy.A total of 48 charging ports have been installed in guest parking lots and valet areas at most of Caesars’ Northern and Southern Nevada resorts and casinos, as well as Harrah’s Resort Southern California, and are available for guests to use at no cost.

Estimates find that for every $10 million in revenue earned, Caesars produces fewer than 1,300 metric tons of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which monetize at less than $28,000 in environment costs (compared to an average 3,800 metric tons for S&P 500 companies, which monetize at over $80,000 in environmental costs).
