- For more than 60 years, Disney has maintained a commitment to environmental stewardship that it has acted upon in both big and small ways around the world. Since 1995, the Disney Conservation Fund has directed more than $70 million to reverse the decline of wildlife around the world. In 2017, The Walt Disney Company reduced its net greenhouse gas emissions by 41 percent and diverted nearly 50 percent of waste from landfills and incineration, making significant progress on its long-term goal of attaining a zero state of net greenhouse gas emissions and waste, while conserving water resources.

- SAN FRANCISCO, May 30, 2018 - Sustainable Brands® recently announced that Darren Beck has been promoted to Vice President of the SB Corporate Member Network. Beck joined the company’s leadership team as Senior Director of Corporate Membership 18 months ago to further develop and enhance the growing SB Corporate Member Network. He brought a wealth of experience in sustainability, CSR and social impact, having spent 15 years with Sprint, including as Director of Environmental Initiatives. Since that time, he and his team have maintained a member retention rate of more than 80 percent and are on track to grow the network nearly 50 percent in 2018.

- Many Sustainable Brands Corporate Members have been named in DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity. The list was created in 2001 in response to the emerging business value of diversity-management initiatives. To participate, each company must submit a form, have at least 1,000 employees, and complete NOD’s disability employment tracker. The company then receives a subsequent report card which evaluates its performance in talent pipeline, talent development, leadership accountability, and supplier diversity in comparison to competitors within the same industry.
