Abstract: Efficient Method Dispatch in PCL (Kickzales and Rodriguez, 1990) describes some of the strategies used in the original PCL implementation of Common Lisp Object System and MOP. We informally discuss the modifications done in SBCL version of PCL to provide thread and interrupt safe method dispatch.
