Alphacet Inc. is a leading provider of an enterprise class algorithmic
trading platform used by quants at top tier banks, leading hedge funds
and proprietary trading firms for strategy development and real time
deployment. The heart of our application is a Processing Engine that
is implemented in SBCL. We chose SBCL so that we could make low level
modifications to support extremely fast processing for our real-time
data processing needs and for threading support.

Nikodemus Siivola on multiple occasions to answer support questions,
fix bugs, and to implement new extensions to SBCL. In addition to work
that has gone in upstream SBCL as a result of this, we have been
provided with hotpatches loadable to the SBCL version we are currently
using.
