Tradeshift, the fastest-growing supplier collaboration platform, today announced its partnership with EcoVadis, creators of the first collaborative platform providing Supplier Sustainability Ratings for global supply chains. The partnership will give Tradeshift customers access to EcoVadis’ trusted supplier sustainability ratings to solve their supply chain CSR performance monitoring challenges and advance their Sustainable Procurement programs.
Companies are under ever-increasing pressure to manage risk and improve environmental, social, and ethical performance in their supply base. This partnership will make it easier for them to accomplish these goals. EcoVadis develops reliable, global and easy to use CSR Scorecards with ratings that help organizations manage risk and foster sustainable innovations in the global business landscape. The partnership will integrate EcoVadis’ CSR Ratings with Tradeshift’s global supply chain platform to benefit both buyers and suppliers. It gives users a platform for supplier sustainability management and procurement processes all in one place.

Buyers on the Tradeshift platform will be able to make better procurement decisions, and see a complete view of the CSR performance and sustainability ratings of their supply chain, exposing risks that could lead to brand damage or supply disruption, reducing costs and driving improvements.
Suppliers will also be able to measure, improve and capitalize on their sustainable business practices, thereby strengthening their brands in front of a large audience of businesses.

In December, Tradeshift announced that it would waive the 30 percent revenue share it receives, for organizations that use its platform to build apps that help to support the circular economy. And earlier this year, Tradeshift won the Circular Economy Digital Disruptor Award at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. Tradeshift’s technology facilitates transparency and enables companies to take responsibility for their supply chains, while furthering sustainability by eliminating the need for paper invoices. The company says its EcoVadis partnership reinforces its commitment to this effort.
